Join a team that feels like family

We're building a compassionate, multilingual team of nurses, caregivers and coordinators who look after each other the way we look after the families we serve. If that sounds like you, we'd love to say hello.

Why Canela

A place that values its people

We're a Southern California team building something warm and lasting. Here's what it's like to be part of it.

  • Warm, people-first culture

We care for our team the way we care for families, with respect, honesty and genuine support. You're a person here, not a number.

  • Meaningful, local work

Serve your own Southern California community and make a real difference in the daily lives of neighbors and the people they love.

  • Your language is an asset

English, Spanish and Armenian are all valued here. Speaking a family's language is one of the most caring things you can do.

  • Care done thoughtfully

We match caregivers to families with intention and keep communication open, so you can do your best work.

Open to talented, caring people

Roles we're building

As we grow across Southern California, we're looking to connect with compassionate professionals across these home-health roles. Bilingual or trilingual candidates, Spanish or Armenian a plus, are especially encouraged.

  • Registered Nurses (RN / LVN)

Provide skilled, doctor-directed care in patients' homes, assessments, wound care, medication management and monitoring, with compassion and clinical judgment.

  • Home Health Aides & Caregivers

Offer warm, respectful help with daily living, bathing, dressing, mobility, light housekeeping and companionship, so home stays comfortable and safe.

  • Care Coordinators

Be the caring bridge between families, caregivers and clinicians, scheduling, communicating and helping every care plan run smoothly.

Questions about joining

Do I need to be bilingual to apply?

No, everyone who shares our compassionate, person-centered approach is welcome to reach out. That said, speaking Spanish or Armenian in addition to English is a real plus and helps us serve our community well.

Is a background check required?

Yes. Because our team works closely with people in their homes, background checks and standard screening are part of our hiring process. It's how we keep the families we serve safe.

What if my exact role isn't listed?

We'd still love to hear from you. If you're passionate about home care and think you'd be a good fit, reach out and tell us a little about yourself.
