Canela Home Health serves families across Southern California, bringing compassionate, person-centered care into the homes of the people you love.
Our name
Canela means cinnamon, warmth, comfort and a little spice of life.
We chose the name because it captures the feeling we want every family to have when we walk through the door: reassurance, kindness and the sense that someone who cares is finally here. Home care is deeply personal, and we believe it should feel warm, never clinical or cold.
Our mission
Our mission is simple: to help people live safely and comfortably at home, supported by an experienced, compassionate team that respects who they are and where they come from.
We look after the person, not just a condition, attending to comfort, dignity and the small routines that make a house feel like home.
Serving Southern California with a team that speaks English, Spanish and Armenian, so families can be understood in their own words.
Care should help people stay themselves. We support independence and choice, and we treat every home with respect.

From our Glendale home base, we serve families across Southern California, from Oxnard to Orange County. We're proud to care for communities rich with Armenian, Latino and many other families, and we bring that understanding to every visit.
Serving Southern California means we're familiar with the region's hospitals and neighborhoods, and able to show up with care in the language your family speaks. From Ventura County through greater Los Angeles to Orange County, we build relationships one household at a time, with the goal of being a trusted neighbor you can call on.
